CURRENT OPENINGS

Position: Hairstylist (Entry-Level)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time | 36 hours minimum, days/nights/weekends

Start Date: Immediately

Job Location: St. Louis, MO (Central West End)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Provide excellent and consistent customer service and guest care for all clients
  • Book and manage appointments
  • Assist guests with retail purchases
  • Educate and promote the Aveda lifestyle
  • Meet service, retail and guest retention goals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
  • Work with team members to overcome obstacles and provide solutions

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer and web knowledge
  • The ability to maintain a courteous, professional and helpful demeanor at all times
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to effectively multi-task at all times
  • The ability to stay organized and efficient
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership skills

 

Qualifications:

  • Missouri State Cosmetology License
  • Available to work full-time
  • Available to work evening/weekend hours

 

You’re always representing our company. Therefore, a professional, trendy appearance is important and expected. Experience with salon booking software (SalonBiz) is a huge plus but not required. We provide paid training. Compensation based on experience.

Position: Guest Services Coordinator

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time | 36 hours minimum, days/nights/weekends

Job Location: St. Louis, MO (Central West End)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Assist guests with coats, refreshments, etc.
  • Book and manage appointments
  • Answer, forward and return phone calls in a timely manner
  • Assist guests via email, web and phone
  • Assist guests with retail purchases
  • Check guests in and out
  • Forward messages to staff and stylists in a timely manner
  • Keep front desk and waiting area tidy

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma. Some college experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer, web and social media knowledge
  • The ability to maintain a courteous, professional and helpful demeanor at all times
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to effectively multi-task at all times
  • The ability to stay organized and efficient

 

You’ll be the first person employees, guests and potential clients see, so you’re always representing our company. Therefore, a professional, trendy appearance is important and expected. Previous customer service experience is also expected.

 

Experience working in a salon and/or with booking software (SalonBiz) or CRM software (DemandForce) is a huge plus, but not required.

 

Experience with salon appointment timing and terminology is a huge plus, but not required.

 

We provide paid training. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
