St. Louis Proud Since 1992
Philip Shipman and Bonita Johnson opened the doors to Philip Johnson Salon in 1992 in the Central West End. After tremendous early growth, the space doubled in size in 1996 to include spa services. Another expansion happened in 2007 and since then, Philip Johnson has grown to become one of the top salons in St. Louis and the country, winning the prestigious Salon Today Top 200 Award from Salon Today Magazine seven times. In July 2021, Philip Johnson seamlessly transitioned into the hands of new ownership to continue their legacy and take the business into the future.
